Hidden gem with a great view of the bay. Everything is green and blooming with all the rain lately. The main (Spirit) trail has a poem with rock formations laid out along the way to match the poem. There are lots of trails across and around the whole park. There are a few "campers" here, but everyone seemed pretty peaceful. Dog friendly trails but beware of skunks. Only one restroom area was not kept well.
Nice place to run, hike, walk or bike. The area is pretty well maintained. It did smell a little and that’s because of the methane plant there. Pretty views of the Bay. There are multiple paths you can take and it wasn’t very crowded when I went (maybe because of the heat?). Overall I enjoyed the bike ride and walk around there.
I love it!! I definitely recommend this place for morning runs, walks or just feel free and relaxed I really like it!! I believe it’s good in the afternoon too not late tho but definitely a good place to see a beautiful sunset.
There is a spiritual path in the park. It’s fun to read the poem along the trail. No shade and better to walk during early morning or late afternoon.
A nice good size urban park that you can see the San Francisco Bay. Very beautiful. Some beautiful wildflowers on the trails. Parking is relatively easy. The reason that this isn’t 5-star is because it is a bit too flat for me. Also, no shade at all. Could be hot in the summer. Good park for even the most casual hikers.
Updating review: I had previously only been to the park when it was desert-y and dry—but still beautiful. Today it was luscious and green and lovely in a different way. Plenty of parking. Access to a public restroom. A few benches for resting. Stroller-friendly, but bumpy. A nice place to wander aimlessly. Choose the more flat trails today rather than the steep hills; however, I did make it up one little incline and enjoyed the wonderful view.

Original Review: I’m not sure where all these pictures of greenery came from—everything is brown & dead right now. There is some construction at the entrance. Lots of parking available. Public bathrooms available. Stroller-friendly paths, but unpaved & bumpy. I just kind of wandered around; there were no clear paths set out with signs for direction. We chose to trek up a few hills, but could have had a flat walk if we wanted. Very little shade on a hot day. Today’s bonus: we followed the mysterious sounds of a trumpet through the park to find a fellow playing at the top of a hill—so fun!
Quaint quiet area, didn't explore much of it since I didn't have the proper footwear. I wanted to walk my dog and this place is great for him, will definitely bring him back, he has to be leashed at all times. The grass were pretty dry, not alot of trash area for when you have to clean up after your dog, but that's not a huge issue, I just held it. I will update this when my dog and I explore this area more, I do like it enough.
Great during winter and early spring when it's all green. Gets pretty dry during the summer. Parking is easy to find and the breeze is always cool down here.
